Through 3Q2018 the U.S. Venture Capital Market has already hit its highest annual deal value in history, at $84.3B. According to the latest Pitchbook-NVCA Venture Monitor, VCs have invested that capital in 6,583 deals already this year. The trend continues to move towards more capital going into fewer deals, with over 378 $50M+ rounds, already surpassing 2017’s 292.
